While marveling at the ingenious ideas of experts, one can’t help but envy the life of a carpenter. No need for words, “Language is the source of misunderstandings.” Feel the temperature of each piece of wood, cut, sand, and combine to endow it with a soul and new value. This sense of down-to-earthness and authenticity is the beauty that life should have.
Let’s get back to the point. Video illustrations are as follows: Wooden Mat Step 1. Drill holes at 2.5 cm from each end of a wooden strip. Use sandpaper to smooth the wood. Repeat for 15 wooden strips. Step 2. Wrap one end of a straw rope with tape, pass it through the wooden hole, and tie a knot to fix it. Repeat the operation to connect both ends of all the wooden strips in series. The self-made wooden mat is completed. It can be used as a doormat before entering the door or a bath mat after bathing. Rubber Band Decorative Lamp Step 1. Take a piece of wood in the following shape. Drill a hole at the bottom. Install a threaded socket, a nut (on the outside), and a rubber bushing (on the inside) at the drilled hole in sequence. Pass the wire through and fix the bottom of the socket. Step 2. Glue square bases at the four corners of the bottom. Screw a light bulb into the socket and wrap rubber bands around the outside. The rubber band decorative lamp is completed. You can shape the rubber bands according to your own aesthetics. Wall Lamp Headboard Step 1. Prepare a wooden board cut to the size of the headboard. Step 2. Sand and wipe it, then paint it and let it dry. Step 3. Fix the wooden board with screws every 4 cm. Fix the lamp chassis at the upper left and right corners of the bed board and drill holes. Step 4. Take the wall lamp and power cord, pass them through the drilled holes. Twist the white wires together and the black wires together, then fix them with screws. You can enjoy reading at night under the wall lamp by the headboard. Chopstick Fruit Basket Step 1. Take unused disposable chopsticks. Drill holes at 6.35 cm from the left end and 1.27 cm from the right end respectively. Arrange them as shown in the figure. Step 2. Connect the left, middle, and right parts with a thread. An artistic fruit basket is ready. A good editor who doesn’t want to be a carpenter isn’t a good bartender. Happy Labor Day
